Hi! I am Fernanda Ortega
With over 20 years as a global Human Resources executive, managing complex business transformations in several industries, my personal journey has taken me across three continents and five cities in the past decade, all while balancing my roles as a mother and wife. I've led my family through multiple relocations, experiencing firsthand both the challenges and opportunities of reinvention abroad.
My career evolved from Vice President of HR in multinational corporations to reimagining my professional identity after moving to Spain. This strategic pivot allowed me to redefine my relationship with work and life. Today, through EAGERr Consulting, I drive business and career transformations, applying insights from my own journey alongside my academic background in Psychology, MBA training, and Executive Coach certification from Columbia University. I understand the uncertainty of building a meaningful career in a new country while maintaining your sense of self.

Hi! I am Tati Paes
Born in Brazil, I experienced my first expat adventure in Singapore as a child. My journey has taken me across four continents - Asia, South and North America, and Europe - navigating the complexities of global relocation from multiple perspectives. I graduated from Babson College, in Boston, and hold an MBA from IE Business School, in Madrid. After a 16-year corporate HR career with multinational giants like Samsung and HSBC, I relocated to Paris in 2020 as an expat mother with two toddlers during the pandemic.
Since 2021, I've made Barcelona my home and founded Interoots, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to supporting individuals and families in creating the fulfilling life they envisioned abroad. I've walked the path you're on now - feeling lost, questioning identity, and searching for purpose in a new country, and through the use of powerful tools have built my own path towards a balanced and fulfilling life.
